FAQ

Can I place page numbers anywhere on the page?

Yes. Drag the page number marker directly on the live PDF preview. The same relative position is applied to every selected page when you export.

Can I add numbers only to some pages?

Yes. You can set a start page and end page, and you can skip the first page for cover pages or title pages.

What placeholders can I use in the template?

Use {page} for the displayed page number, {total} for the PDF page count, and {actual} for the original PDF page number. For example, "Page {page} of {total}".

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The preview and final PDF generation run entirely in your browser. Your file stays on your device.

Will the placement work on different page sizes?

The tool stores placement as percentages of page width and height, then converts those percentages per page. This keeps the page number in a consistent visual location across common mixed-size documents.
